ehehehehehe. sijie please dont hate me!

here's an update just for you and everyone else who checks my blog occasionally (:

I'm now in my holiday mood - which is do nothing and slack everyday. It's weird how we want holidays to hurry come by during our school days, and during holidays we kinda miss homework. HMM, what a dilemma in life.

James and I tried to spice things up in life, by going to the theme park!!! the day started off with me being really, extremely pissed off (as if though i'm against the whole world) because after weeks of really good weather and occasional rainy days, the day we decided to actually wake up early and go to the theme park... it had to be windy and temperature had to drop by like what... 10 degrees? pissed the hell out of me. i hate cold... hahahah although im not sure if i am prepared for sunny island singapore yet.

james tried to win this huuuumongous toy dog for me but......... it was too difficult. but we got a small cow instead. and we named it... MOOdy.. hahaha cos i was moody that day ):

and we made a hand sculpture for ourselves using wax.. it was really hard cos we tried to use both our hands to make a heart shape and it broke the first time.. it was so hard that people came to look at us and cheered for us. ohoho i felt like a zoo animal x_X

we didnt take those super scary rides cos i it was so cold on the rides! i shivered so badly on the first one not out of fear but out of coldness. -_- GEESH. i wish someone could invent some portable heater...

and welllll. i am suppose to be packing my bag again.... IM GOING BACK SINGAPOREEEEEEEE. i dont want to surprise any of u anymore, my surprises always get spoilt. ahahahah its okay lar, now that u guys know im back, ASK ME OUT! =D well i think i am missing out alot in Singapore since i stayed at home most of the time last summer... woot! i cant wait to go back and explore singapore again! my island home... =D

The days are finally longer than the night!

It's times like this that I realized that I used to take the Sun setting at 6pm for granted.

In this part of the world, most of the time its cold chilly nights when I would choose to stay at home and busy myself with the computer.

Now that the snow has melted, I see more squirrels, seagulls and pigeons! They are so huge, fat and really daring. These little north american animals dare to block the ways of human beings. I even had a flock of pigeons flying towards me before! drats, i still love animals.

I'm in the season of... EXAMS! and I think I just had one of the best study session so far, 2 lectures of biology back to back.

Exams exams.. they are generally hated, but if you look at it as a whole, dont you think that exams are pretty exciting? Aside from the constant whining - "I'm going to fail... I'm so dead.. I don't know anything.. I'm so screwed." Exam periods are one of the times that you actually learn something! In fact everything that is tested this semester despite the fact that I've skipped so many classes.. hoho.

I just had my first exam yesterday - Vectors, matrices and geometry. The professor was horribly boring and his writing is illegible. Assignments were killers. WebWorks were a chore. But! I felt that the exam could have been one of best exam that I have taken thus far in McGill. Credit goes to this prep course that I pay to help me cramp a semester of work in TWO days. The wonders of proper teaching...

Amidst all these exams, I still have to find time to pack my room. Pack as in put items in boxes and luggages.

I have to move out of my place by 30th April, I have my last exam on the morning of 30th April. Sigh oh sigh.

I realize that ever since I made my decision to come Canada, I have been doing alot more of this packing and moving routine. I don't like it. This is a time to dig out the stuffs that were forgotten, swipe the dust of them and decide whether to keep or throw them away.

Moving moving moving, I hope that I will like the new place I rented..

While i was in the toilet...

I came up with a hypothesis:

When a thin person and a fat person falls off a bike, the fat person will suffer more injuries.

By conventional wisdom, a thin person will seem weak and fragile, and therefore when they fall off they will break more bones.

however...

based on F=ma... with the same acceleration, the one with the bigger mass should have more force exerted on him, therefore more pain inflicted.

BUT.

james disagrees with my hypothesis. (and i'm pretty surprise with his sudden knowledge..)

the fall do not only depend on mass, there is the surface area of the person that we have to take into account to, so the fatter one with bigger mass will have the force spread across a larger area, thus... conventional wisdom might just be right.

well, i tried to rebutt saying that "but according to my explanantion, its no wonder that small tiny little mini ants do not die when they fall off trees."

"but my dear, it doesnt matter, when they fall... they fall to pieces. you cant even see where they've gone to"

well, thats more logical than saying that the sky is blue due to the reflection of the sea. way to go!

anwww. yeahhh i gotta start getting used to writing 2009 instead of 8!!!

while at toronto, we went to niagara falls for 3 days, with one aim in mind - SHOP.

we went across the borders to USA! and even better was, we went to a huge factory outlet mall - they have brands such as Juicy Couture, Coach, Guess, Espirit, Calvin Klein, Burberry etc.. that kinda explained where half of my expenses went to.. hmm.

and before that sara, robert, mindee, tiffany and lydia came over to my place! due to the horrible amount of snow in montreal, i cldnt bring sara, robert and mindee to much places =((( summer!!!

I'm left with 2 more final exams - Chemistry and Physics.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now, feeling pent up inside me and i'm having a pretty bad migraine.

Hiding in this little corner of the school on a Sunday night, wanting some time alone.

Should i stayover in school??

I still find that it is so cool that McGill's science building (yes, only privileged geeks get to enter with our student ID), library and some parts of the school are open 24/7 during exam periods. 24hours! even on a sunday!!! and students do actually study and sleepover in school.

geesh, i love mcgill, so studious yet so fun.

i hate the exam locations though, it is usually up the hill. Trudging through thick snow and pressed for time in the morning at 8am plus last minute cramping? PLUS freaking cold weather PLUS dry air, just leaves me in a horrible state to take exams. But, biology went pretty okay and maths was better than i thought.

and, MY HEAD HURTS LIKE HELL. i wanna vomit. why the hell am i in the school in the first place?
